A work in progress
Well, I don't have much to say right now. Honestly, I'm trying to build out this website, so I felt like I just needed to throw something here. I don't know how much the "blog" will actually be used, but it seems like a nice idea to get my thoughts out to people that are interested in them.
I've spent the majority of Saturday (today) sitting and staring at my computer, which is what I do 40 hours a week at work, so it's a bit tedious, but I think I've made decent progress on the page so far. That's nice. I need a place to direct people when they're interested in the books. I'm also very much in "build my author brand" mode right now, with the release of the new book this month. I really hope this book finds an audience that enjoys it, the early reviews have been overall really positive, and I'm so happy for that. I'm also happy that I already have an idea for the next one, and I'm actually really excited to get to work on that. Southern gothic is a genre that I didn't know existed specifically, but something I've always loved now that I've found the name for it.
Alright, this should be enough for a placeholder to see how this goes. I look forward to keeping people up to date with how things are going, and maybe giving an insight into this entire self publishing adventure that I've been on.
